Commercial Interior Design
Designed to feel more like a curated boutique than a traditional fitness studio, Finesse Fit brings together warmth, simplicity, and thoughtful details to create an inviting experience from the moment clients walk through the door.
For this commercial project, I designed the reception and retail areas, including the furnishings and finishing touches that give the space its character. The goal was to create an environment that felt welcoming, elevated, and reflective of the studio’s identity, while maintaining the functionality needed for everyday business operations.
A Thoughtful Approach to Wellness
A custom curved reception desk with natural wood and woven cane detailing establishes a warm focal point, complemented by subtle brass accents and a soft, neutral palette. Open oak shelving and brass clothing rails create an understated retail display, allowing merchandise to become part of the overall design rather than competing with it.
Arched mirrors introduce softness and depth, while organic-shaped tables, textured furnishings, greenery, and carefully selected accessories bring warmth and dimension throughout the space.
Every detail was considered to create a cohesive experience—one that balances the practical needs of a working Pilates studio with the relaxed sophistication of a thoughtfully designed boutique.
The result is a welcoming, functional space where design supports both the business and the experience of the people who walk through its doors.
